Besides my occasional out-of-lurkdom in complaints, I've kind of skidded to a halt in my DA activity. It comes down to me being a very wimpy and painfully shy person, even on the intertubes. (I posted ONE journal in the year 2007. Wow. It was a dark year.)


IRL, my inhibitions might loosen up a bit, as I am attending my first convention next week. It is an animu convention, and I have hopes that there will be interesting people and good times to be had there. It's kind of funny how I can sometimes feel like an outsider even among other geeks.


Here's to hoping I can get over myself and just be happy with doing silly things.



In other news, I accidentally left a pot of herbal tea out for the weekend while I was gone, and from the smell of it, I think it fermented into some kind of liquor. Also occuring this evening; I put some tostatas with cheese in the oven to broil and upon opening the oven, found that they were not only burned but IN FLAMES.

It is not a good day for the kitchen to be smelling good, apparently.
