And damn it all, crying

I'm acting as Beta reader for an awesome ongoing fanfic called "Consumed", and have been inspired to do a little bit of illustration for it.

The fic is for Fullmetal Alchemist; post series and movie with SERIOUS SPOILERS. Be warned;

This particular scene is from chapter eight, Alphonse crying by Ed's hospital bed. I think the coloring is a bit too soft to convey the deep creases of his face and illustrate the emotion there. Crying isn't pretty, and I hoped to at least get that through with some other attemptedly gritty details.


This was supposed to be anime style goddangitt. See how well that one turned out.
