Lyric snippet Copyright the White Stripes, "Hypnotise".

This is my first ever digitally colored piece. I used... probably the oldest existing version of Adobe Photodeluxe. It's the program we've had for 7 years plus.
Aside from that, Hughes is a difficult character to draw, especially considering his facial structure. It's a very squarish masculine shape, which is pretty common in FMA's uber shonen-esque art style, and nearly impossible for me to draw. Essentially, this is my first serious drawing of Hughes, but it still looks nearly chibi-ed, in my opinion. My 'personal style' dosen't mix too well with FMA's style, but, I tried.

As for the lyrics, I intended to put a full verse in there, but there wasn't space. I think that line says enough. White Stripes make the cutest love songs. ^_^ It just made me think of Hughes.

Getting a decent color for Gracia's hair was considerably difficult.
I always used to be terrified of digital coloring... I still sort of am. Getting better with my fear, though.
